The Rock talks about his boyhood dream of becoming an icon.
00:02Finally The Rock has come back to Philadelphia!
00:17Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love, the city that loves you back.
00:22It's always sunny in Philadelphia.
00:27But above all else Philadelphia is the city of asskickers!
00:36This statue of Rocky Balboa that The Rock is standing in front of represents the fighting spirit of Philadelphia.
00:44The Rock has been coming to Philly for years, walking these streets at twelve years old.
00:49The Rock stood in front of this statue, became inspired.
00:54Look at the picture! That's The Rock, if you look closely.
00:59That is The Rock at twelve years old. Arms held up high.
01:04Dreaming of one day becoming an asskicker.
01:08Yeah, The Rock knows what you're thinking. Sure, The Rock looked like a chunky little girl at twelve years old.
01:13With short shorts. His little pebbles were coming out. But that's not important.
01:18The most important thing about that picture is that at twelve years old The Rock was dreaming of becoming the greatest of all time.
01:28One year later after that picture was taken, the very first WrestleMania took place. The Rock watched it. He felt it. He watched. He watched Hulk Hogan.
01:38The Immortal Hulk Hogan. Whatcha gonna do when the twenty four inch pythons run wild on you?!
01:44WrestleMania VI, years later. The Rock watched The Ultimate Warrior.
01:50The Warrior spirit through my veins in pig juice and a chariot of fire! The Rock had no idea what he was talking about. No one did.
02:00The most important thing, The Warrior became an icon. Years later The Rock headlined his very first WrestleMania as WWE Champ right here,
02:14right here in Philadelphia against one man, Stone Cold Steve Austin.
02:21The Rock with all his electricity, all his swagger, stepped in the ring, went toe to toe with Stone Cold Steve Austin, and you know what happened?
02:30He flipped The Rock off, gave him a Stunner and beat him one, two, three in the middle of ring. Stop laughing!
02:38The Rock that night made two vows. The first: he was never again gonna fight a man in jeans shorts.
02:46And that didn't happen, obviously. The second one: The Rock was gonna continue his dream, the twelve year old's dream to become the greatest of all time.
02:56The Rock went on to beat Stone Cold Steve Austin. Went on to beat The Immortal Hulk Hogan.
03:01In order for The Rock's dream to come true, being the greatest of all time, there is one guy left.
03:07His name: John Cena. Mr. You-Can't-See-Me. Mr. The-Champ-Is-Here. Mr. You-Want-Some-Come-Get-Some. John Cena, The Rock can see you.
03:21The People's Champ is here. And when The Rock wants some, believe The Rock, Jack, he gets some!
03:27That's thirteen days away. The biggest of all time. Thirteen days away.
03:31The Rock is not talking about that right now, The Rock wants to talk about tonight.
03:36Here's what The Rock is gonna do tonight, John Cena. The Rock is gonna right back into his car.
03:40He's gonna take that long drive down Broad Street.
03:44And he's gonna come to the arena, right there in the Wells Fargo Center. The Rock's music is gonna hit. If you smell! The roof on that arena is gonna blow off with electricity!
03:54The Rock is gonna get right in the middle of that ring, John Cena! And he's gonna send you a message! Loud and clear! Tonight live! In front of the world.
04:02And if you don't get that message, The Rock is gonna get back into his car.
04:08And The Rock is gonna drive to Pat's.
04:13He's gonna drive to Pat's. He's gonna get the biggest cheese steak that he can find.
04:18They gonna ask The Rock: 'Rock, you want it with or without?'
04:22The Rock is gonna say, 'Both'!
04:24Because The Rock wants with extra onions, with extra cheese, with extra some of that sauce you put on it.
04:31And without a doubt The Rock is gonna take all of that, roll it all up into a ball, make the biggest cheese steak ball you'd ever seen, turn that son of a bitch sideways and stick it straight up your candy ass!
04:46The Rock don't stop there, John Cena. When you're running around Philadelphia with a cheese steak from Pat's shoved up your ass,
04:52all the greats are gonna thank The Rock in their own special way.
04:58They'll say 'Bang Bang!', they'll say 'Wooooooooooooo!'.
05:06And they'll say, from above, looking down, proudly on The Rock for what he did to John Cena, 'Ooooh Yeah! Dig it!'.
05:23John Cena, it's just the beginning. It's gonna be just the beginning.
05:28In the spirit of this man, Rocky Balboa, The Rock is gonna eat lighting, is gonna crap thunder!
05:34The Rock is gonna lay the smack down! And at WrestleMania 28 - the biggest of all time,
05:41what the world is gonna see, what the world is waiting for, once in a lifetime, when The Rock beats you in the middle of the ring, one, two, three -
05:50the dream of that twelve year old boy to become the greatest of all time comes true!
05:58Standing there, 'Yo Adrian, I did it',
06:08if you smell what The Rock is cooking!
