00:04 I have watched TNA since the beginning when they were at the asylum in Nashville, and I watched a small company grow.
00:18 And my friends would always tell me 'Tommy, quit your job, come over here.' And I was scared.
00:25 I was a dad with two little kids and I had financial security.
00:31 I kept on seeing so many similarities between the original ECW and TNA.
00:40 The original ECW was a place where men and women who were unknown became legends.
00:50 Where legends in the wrestling business came to ECW to reinvent their career.
01:00 You see, long before Samoa Joe was dumping people on their heads and choking people out, there was Taz, the Human Suplex Machine, doing it everywhere.
01:20 What Ric Flair did for Jay Lethal, Terry Funk did for me, and did for Mick Foley.
01:34 Before the Beautiful People, there was Francine and Beulah McGillycutty.
01:42 And I saw, when you invited me to Slammiversary, I got to feel TNA.
01:51 I got to see a bunch of men and women doing what they do for passion, doing what they do for the love of this business, and doing what they do for each and every one of you. ['TNA! TNA!']
02:18 And I have to thank you for bringing back that passion.
02:23 Because in 2005 at ECW One Night Stand I had my closure, I really did.
02:30 And then they brought it back.
02:36 And I got to witness my friends who we used to party like rock stars together, and now I know their kids, I got to watch them get fired, I watched them get destroyed.
02:53 For what? ['Vince sucks!'] Exactly.
03:05 Until it bothered me so much that I had to quit my own job. And at 38 years old that was a hell of a risk, but I couldn't stomach watching something that I love so much.
03:22 And I'm seriously, I sat at that crowd, and he would talk to me, he would talk to me, he would talk to me, and he was the final one.
03:34 He showed me all the similarities, everything that happened, and we all put this plan together.
03:42 And there is only one person that can make it happen, and it's you.
03:53 This is not about an ECW invasion, this is not about us taking over.
04:01 This is about men and women who lost their jobs, whose lives were affected by it.
04:10 I refuse to cry 'cause I'm really happy. ['We love you!']
04:15 I love you guys, too.
04:23 This is about for the fans that chanted, for my friends who lived it, that our legacy is not destroyed.
04:38 I beg of you, for one night, give us one night to show the world what we had, and our legacy can live forever, I beg of you.
04:57 Do you guys want one night? Do you guys want one night?
05:10 You know how to put a person in a difficult position. Look, you can't come out here and get emotional like that. I believe in you guys, but if we're gonna do this, you guys wanna do this?
05:24 I have one stipulation. You and you guys plan this, you plan everything about it. You have complete control to do it the right way.
05:36 It's got to be real, it's got to be real, and it's got to be what you want. Nothing that has to do with TNA. ['Sabu! Sabu!']
05:44 TNA is giving this to you.
05:48 Impact Zone? We're going extreme!
